Blanche's love for Jazz began as a child. Her beloved Father, a Master Sgt in the Air Force, would share his music reels from overseas. This appreciation and ear for music showed up in her working for a Music Management Company in Miami and a decade later in Washington, DC as a National XM Satellite Talk Show Host, where she had the honor of interviewing legends like Sonny Rollins, Nancy Wilson, Quincy Jones, George Duke, Will Downing, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, and others.

Blanche's first music teacher was Grammy nominated Music Educator, Saxophonist, and Producer Melton Mustafa Jr, followed by earning a spot in the Palm Beach State College Tuesday Jazz Sextet directed by Professor David Gibble and Jazz Pianist Stephen Scott with a Master Class taught by International Jazz Steel Drummer Othello Molineaux.

Since March 2016, Blanche's biggest labor of love has been producing and hosting the Jazz on J Street Professional Jam Session because she believes that what she gets in return is a Master Class every 3rd Tuesday by the best, brightest and kindest musicians on the planet. She's also a happy member of the Jazz on J Street Ensemble featuring various JAM Session musicians.
